Description
IF you do not have a prior experience using GPS / GSM /module in Vehicle tracking please do not bid on this project, we would prefer to see prior work before we award the project.We are looking for a hardware developer (mechanical/electronic engineer) who can implement a complete custom project for a GPS/GSM/GPRS tracking unit.
The units purpose is to gather GPS data and other data (speed, distance, exceptions etc.) and relay the information back to a phone, smartphone or server IP address or Domain name
Firmware needs to be developed in C language.
This will involve :
- board layout, general electronic circuit design, firmware, prototyping, debuging etc.
The appropriate candidate would be able to firstly define the system, recommend the appropriate chipsets and components, and then complete the specifications.
Therefater launch into a schematic/PCB/firmware design.
provide sample prototypes for testing. All this should be completed within a maxiumum of 25 days.
We also require software to be developed to enable trackling on smart phones.
Below is just few highlights, I assume you will add more stuff here like security password and so on which are common to any AVL devices, any of the alerts from tracker to the server should be available in auto and on demand mode from server and from Cell phone
