They had data from an online survey on B2B conference industry outlook for 2009 and my brief was to analyze the data and prepare a professional report. Specifically, I was mandated to provide them with a report whose quality had to be similar to those of Forrester Research and Gartner industry research reports. I had prepared my report accordingly and Merlien is now selling that report for Euro 195 a piece. They told me that they are ‘satisfied’ with the report and awarded me a 33% bonus over and above the agreed fee.
