Description

Our current gay dating site is coded in PHP with mysql backend, hosted on our dedicated server, and has ajax functionality embedded in most of the pages. My business partner and I have done a major redesign and would like to have this redesign recoded from scratch using a PHP framework such as CakePHP or something equivalent, with provided new templates with color scheme and graphics, additional Ajax functionality and scripts, and a new Mailbox based upon Yahoo mail.

The new Mailbox can be considered a site within a site as it displays lots of data visually and is heavily reliant on Ajax functionality. It will have a closable tab based system to show multiple pages, and the usual mailbox features except it is customized to the needs of our site.

I have templates and specs to show to the prospective bidders, and will reveal the url to those bidders with whom I’m interested in having a dialogue, based upon their expertise in PHP, javascript, and Ajax.

You must (1) be skilled in PHP/Mysql, PHP/ajax framework software, AJAX (YUI library or equivalent), javascript, and CSS; and (2) be open to communication via email, IM, and phone. If you’re going to show me sites you have built please include those with Ajax functionality as this will be a determining factor.
