Hello - I have extensive experience building PDF files on the fly using PDFCreatorPilot2.dll. I can distribute this dll royalty free, and can encapsulate the functionality in an ActiveX dll, or .Net assembly. I would prefer the ActiveX dll since PDFCreatorPilot2.dll is itself a COM object. Open source TeX or LateX to be used, allowing programmable control of content of document, while having the source as a text file. A further advantage of tex/latex is the large addon software library available, if needed. Output produced can be pdf, ps or dvi, and is probably the best obtainable in the device selected output.

I will use Java and the libraries will be dependent in source of data. I can use JasperReports, XSL transformations or generate PDF directly (in this case, I can use C or C++ too).
