Description

I would like a custom content (gadget/widget) developed for our My.Yahoo.com page. http://my.yahoo.com/ and http://developer.yahoo.com/yap/. Right now, Yahoo offers a "To Do List" and "Calendar" (see attached). The Calendar widget/gadget shows data from Yahoo Calendar (http://calendar.yahoo.com/) while the To Do List shows tasks and reminders.

you would create a new widget/gadget very similar to the Calendar widget/gadget, that hooks into Yahoo Calendar, but with extra functionality. Right now, if you have a recurring item in your calendar (e.g. "bill Dr. Smith") it shows up on the Calendar widget/gadget only on the day that it takes place. We would like it to show up indefinitely until action is taken (e.g. until you delete it). This is because nothing on the main My.Yahoo.com page shows you that you may have forgotten to do something yesterday, or last week, or whenever. Their existing To Do List is not acceptable because it does not hook into Calendar - and as such, you would have to manually enter each item each month, because it doesn't allow recurring tasks.

I would have to test this to ensure it works. We would want source code. It should work with future Yahoo updates and be clean and small and efficient code.
