Description

Digital iPhone App Magazine. Once the application is downloaded, the user will be able to browse sections/articles/photos in a magazine style. The app will be subscription based where the content is updated on a regular basis. Each issue will have 5-6 sections and within the section there would be an article with photos, and links to videos will be available. The App would be very similar in design to “Covergirl” currently available on the App Store

II. Features
a.Corporate Logo page – lasts 5 seconds
b.Issue Cover Page – a graphic that will look just like a magazine cover. From here the user will use a finger swipe across to get to the Table of Contents
c.Table of Contents – List of the current issue contents, from there the user clicks on the article they want to read. The TOC page will also have a button for issue archives so the user can browse previously downloaded issues.
d.Issue Archives - Upon launch the app will have the current issue loaded, when they view issue archives, there will be a past issue list. The user would then download the issue they want to view. The user clicks a download button, the phone stores the issue, then the button is changed to “view”. The iPhone app can store the last 5 issues.
e.Article screen – When viewing an article there will be three buttons on top: Previous article, Next Article. And on the bottom of the screen will be a series of numbers representing the pages in that article. See pic. The app would support both standard portrait view and landscape view.
f.Article types – standard text/images, video

III. Technical Requirements
a.Template – Need a “template” of the app created that will allow easy update of a new issue by a novice. It needs to be simple to add a new article, place text, place images, and create a link for a video.
b.Need the app setup as a subscription type app so it complies with App Store requirements.
c.Need a web server setup that will host videos/content/archived issues
