Description

I have a list of so many names and permissions for each name. Each quarter there may be changes to the list. I currently have this in Excel on a Mac. I am looking for a macro? (I don't know how to use Macros); or a perl script to do the following:

Take the list of names and set up a table, with different names in each category of the table. The permissions are so that some of the names may or may not have persmission to be listed in a certain column. No Name can be in more than one column per row.

For example:

Names - Permission Level
A-1
B-1
C-1
D-1
E-1
F-2
G-2
H-3

Permission Levels:
1 = Can be in any column
2 = Can NOT be in Column 3 (Name3)
3 = Can NOT be in Column 3 or 4 (Name3 or Name4)

Table Columns:
Name1 -- Name2 -- Name3 -- Name4
A -- B -- C -- D
E -- F -- G -- A
H -- B -- C -- D

etc.

The total number of names on the list is not expected to exceed 20.

If you can do this online in perl/html, where I can edit the names, column headings and row titles, that would be cool. I will also need to be able to print the final list and possibly make changes to the list each quarter. Otherwise I have Excel 2004, vers 11.3 for Mac. and would like it in that format.
