Earlyarts is a training and professional development network for arts, cultural and early learning professionals - see www.earlyarts.co.uk.

We are about to publish a research report to our funders and stakeholders. In this report, we would like to include a graphic map of the UK, showing where all the 250 research respondents plus our 150 existing members come from. The aim is to give a visual illustration of the current (and potential) reach of the network.

We are looking for a very simple but contemporary illustration, including an outline map of the UK with its 9 regional delineations (plus Scotland, N Ireland and Wales), and pin points of the network members in the appropriate location on the map. These points should then feed out (via an arrow, line or some other key) to the name of the organisation, the location (town or city only) and, where available, the web address. This information could be placed in a key at the bottom or around the edges of the map, whatever the designer and ourselves agree on as the best approach. The information key on the organisations should be categorised by region (we will provide information in an excel spreadsheet or access database). The map and key is intended to be no larger than half a side of A4 paper.

This is a small budget job so templates will be considered. The main issue is timescales - we need to publish the report on 14th January so please only bid if you can work immediately. All serious bidders should provide links to, or jpegs of recent work, no bidders will be considered whose recent work is not available for review. Payment will be made via Escrow on satisfactory completion of project.

If the illustration works well, it is possible that we may take this forward to a dynamic web page version where members can input and update their own details, but that is dependent on the success of the graphic stage and available budgets in the future.
