Description:	Hi, I already have the script, so please dont quote prices to build a custom yellow pages. just some background:: I initially hired 4 people to do data entry, and they were inputing each company and all details. But i stopped it today, when i got the idea from browsing this site, and exploring Data mining techniques. I bought the script which is PHPMyDirectory (phpmydirectory.com), and had a little modification done to it. I included a country flag hack for each listing. So a matter of principle would be that company X is currently located in Britian, but its a US company, so its flag would be US. Or it could be british, that depends. Now i would need someone to spider and mine a yellow pages directory (the website i will give later on once project is approved), dont worry all the data is very structured. Mine it using screen scraper technology or any other method you chose. Good Application to use would be Velocityscape Web Scraper Plus v4.0.12 (http://www.velocityscape.com/). Once your have collected all the companies on the website about 15,000 companies. You would then dump that into the script. You need to work on categories as this would be the more complicated aspect of it. On our end once this works perfect we would do the final touches which is to call all companies an ask for a profile. Your job is just to lay the foundation. you may have to look at the directory and iron out any bugs and improve the code the best you can... Please view the demo on the developer's site and tell me what you think. If the project is goign to be mroe expensive, the please quote your new suggested price please. I wont necessary tak the cheapest or more expensive bid. i am looking for a honest clean and workable solution please.... If you need my licence copy to run locally then i can provide this for your work. This software must solely be used to improve the code and work on the project. Additional information submitted: 11/19/2005 at 8:32 EST: Ok I have now upped the project to the range of $1500 - $5000. Listen guys You need to have a look at PHPMydirectory. You will datamine a selected yellow pages websites. then You will import this into the directory. You will improve on the coe, and iron out any bugs i the code. The admin area, needs to have a nice back end for users and administrators. You need to include some overlib and I have an idea for tabbed browsing (where when you view a listing in detail, it there are options to view images,documents, services, email them etc etc), and I think would make good use of AJAX XMLHttpRequest. One disadvantage of AJAX is that the new pages can't be bookmarked, but I can't see that being a problem (so dont worry about fixing up). There is some work to be done. If you have not looked and cannot respond with target solution based on my requirements, then do not BID or PMB me. Only serious developers please....
