Description

This is a half complete project so be expecting to code after someone else. The project is a complete rewrite of our current site with major business logic and streamlining improvements. Symfony framework is used as a base for this project. There will be a full frontend and backend. Actually alot of the work is already done. The major part which is the XML data import of over 400k products into the database is almost complete. This process will have to be streamlined as a cron job. On the front end the list product, and add to cart functionality is complete will only need a few tweaks in logic and alot of changes to the view (the way it will be displayed). The checkout process is not started. The search needs to be improved to accomodate multiple search criterias such as production time, color availability, imprint area etc. The My account section has to be finished as well. Friendly URL (called routing in symfony) has to be tweaked for best SEO results.

Portions of the backend is complete as well. But alot more work needs to be done on it. Product management and category management has been started but needs to have a quick search feature added as well as well thought out filtering options. Order reporting has not been started and need to be written from scratch to specifications. A fully working roles system needs to be implemented, it has been started as you can see in the screenshots, however it currently does not limit users from actions that are not assigned to them. The backend does not have to be pretty, but has to function like a good work horse as this is a mission critical application.

If you are going to bid, please make sure you have expertly worked with symfony framework as this is not the project to get your feet wet with. Final code has to be w3c complaint as well as well documented, scalable and clear.
