I have a company that ships consumer goods to the Caribbean Islands and would like to build a site that will allow me to capture leads and to convert those leads into actual sales.
First of all and very important, the site must be multi-lingual (beginning with Spanish and English) utilizing language resource files to make the updates between languages as simple as possible. Users should have some type of drop-down control that will allow them to quickly and easily switch between languages.The site will contain the following pages:
1. Home Page - that will contain:
i. A Lead acquisition form where we will capture person’s First name and Email address. I will probably use getresponse.com or aweber.com for autoresponse service.
ii. Shipment as easy as 1, 2, 3 - the general idea here in this section is to give the user a quick step guide on how to complete the online forms.
2. Contact Page with the standard contact info for each company rep
3. Get a Quote Page with a form that will contain some input fields
4. Book a shipment - this page will serve as both a legal binding contract as well as a form in which the client will enter the shipment request.
5. What we do – This is a general “About Us” type page
The system must generate emails to leads and also people that submit actual requests. These emails will be sent to regular email boxes as well as cell phones (as text messages). In addition (and obviously) the system must be able to send out emails to the company owners and reps. In fact, the addition of the email addresses can not be hard coded into the program. This means that an interface must be available to add company reps email addresses that can receive requests.
I have more details on the forms, but basically this is it. Pretty simple project to do.
