Description
Up Front:1 $300 max bid: NO EXCEPTIONS.
2 Automated/scripted bids are put aside and not considered.
3 Fluency in English is important, as there may be a lot of communication between us. If you are not fluent in English, please do not bid.
4 If you are not fluent (and I mean without a heavy accent), please do not bid.
5 The project can take no longer than one business week (5 working days) to complete. If you are good, this is easy, if you have a job that takes all day and you think you can do this in your spare time in 5 days, please do not bid.
6 An EJB3 _expert_ is needed. If you are not an EJB3 expert, but think you can learn it by reading some books, please do not bid.
7 Priority will be given to those with J2EE/EJB3 experience on this site. That means those that have done projects here before and received good feedback. If you ave never done a project here, or even one with EJB3, please do not bid.
Objective
Develop a solution (comprised of a few applications) in Eclipse that are deployed to JBoss in a single JAR via an Ant script from within the IDE. These applications will accomplish the following goals:
1. Gather RSS articles from known feed URLs and save (or "persist", in EJB3 parlance) the articles in the MySQL database.
2. Gather information from known Web Services and save (or "persist", in EJB3 parlance) the value(s) in the MySQL database.
3. Gather text content from known web sites (URLs) and save (or "persist", in EJB3 parlance) the value(s) in the MySQL database.
4. Expose 2 web services (through EJB3 XML file configuration) that take complex input and return a complex persisted object's contents.
