what about password conversion problem? looks like some passwords can be lost. http://www.phpbb.com/support/documents.php?mode=install&version=3#convert

I currently have phpBB3 installed on a local test server. What I can do is do is make a full back up of your forum, then do the conversion on my test server before uploading the upgraded script to the web. What I would like to know though is if you have any modifications installed that would have to be upgraded as well.
