(This is in UK English) Hi, I'm a published short story writer and I'm working on a couple of novels. I love to experiment with prose and one of my interests has been in the area of putting conversational/anecdotal style presentations into text - essentially presenting a speech and story in the same piece of prose. It works quite well, and I can show you a piece which, while primarily a work of humour, demonstrates how effective this technique can be. I'm not an 'experienced speech writer', but if you like what I do, I'm sure we'll be happy and productive. Your rate of $5. per 700 word speech is acceptable, and I could produce at least one such piece per day.
