I'm starting a website like craigslist and Youtube a website very similar to what I want is www.chosenlist.com... You could call it a clone with a couple twists. It will be necessary that you can handle:

Website Design
-The theme of the website is a young fresh look and feel, I'm working with a graphic designer on the main graphics and when we are done with them I can make them available to you to include in the website design
-simple, easy to use, understandable web design like craiglist/google/youtube , (NO PRE_CODED SCRIPTS)
(some correspondence will be necessary and feedback will be given)
-designed for loading speed and worldwide use (languages, protocols)
-browser compatibility (ie, firefox, safari, other major ones)
-basic search engine friendly design (not SEO or promotion) like making sure whatever language you use allows the classified posting titles to be crawable by the search engines

Programming
-simple and understandable listing mechanism like craigslist (3 click rule to posting)
-classified ad section database but much smaller than Craigslist, I will be fpcusing on only one category. The locations of the postings needs to be in the Geo-related structure, with the ability to introduce Mapping plugins. Also the main site is a video craiglist type of service so upload of the video should be fast and then it should stream at a fast pace.

users can use basic HTML on the post pages, images and text only.

Please include past works and any demos of past works that would apply to the project. Although I am not in a time restraint, I would like to get this project finished in 1-2 months..
