Good morning. My name is Daria Lettic. I am new to GAF but have years of data entry and computer experience. I am interested in this project for a few reasons; I have a typing speed of approximately 60wpm, so the turnaround would only be a couple of hours from the receipt of the audio file; I speak proper English and have for my entire 31 years; I don't mind doing small jobs to get my foot in the door with Project Originators and the like. I hope that you will consider me for this transcription project. I will make sure that everything is completed as you need.

I am currently enrolled in a Bachelors of English/Secondary Education Program and scheduled to graduate December 2009. I am getting my degree to teach high school English. Once I am teaching, I plan to continue my education and receive my MFA in English so I can teach at a college level. I type 75 wpm, error free. I have limited transcription experience, but am dedicated and hard working. I promise to create clear, concise transcription with a quick turnaround time. Hi, I’m doing my Honours in English. So understanding the English audio won’t be a problem. Nor will there be any mistakes in the typing. I have transcribed about 9 interviews consisting of about 12-14 hours of audio (dual-speaker audio) for my professor. I have also transcribed a 35 minute audio in GAF. I have attached a sample of my work in the message board. My typing speed is about 60 WPM. It usually takes around 5 hours for me to transcribe 1 hour of audio accurately. But if the quality of the audio file is good it will take me less time than this. Since I have some prior experience (though I’m not a professional) I can assure you that you won’t have any complaint about my work. I can start straight away. I have worked for INtercontinantal Hotel in Duabi for 6 yeasr as Assistant Mnager. The hotel had 47 nationalities working for it during my tenure.
