Description

Aim of project: (The term quote is actually a equal to PROPOSITION

Enable the shop owner to send multiple -groups of products- in a quote style sheet, in the same quote. From any products of a magento shop to a customer.

Which, once the email received, will be directed via a link to the shop quote page to accept or refuse the quote and the products groups suggested on the front end shop (Logged or not).

Than, once the client accepts the group options he wants, the Products would be added as an invoice to the orders. Nothing should show in the cart until the client accepts or the admin executes the quote as an order for the shop.

[MODULE REQUIREMENTS sTARTS HERE]

Basic requirements:


- Enable multiple images in the product quote.

- Must be multilingual, the site is in French/English (Would translate French myself; only need English text in both files FR&EN). Minimal hard coded language text. Must reside in a language file if possible.

- Owner must be able to form any amount of products groups into the same quote ref (Create any amount of group without limits, and insert any amount of shop products in those groups).

- Owner must be able to Adjust/Change Prices,Qty and Description of each products when building the quote.

- Owner must be able to tag the quote as immediately accepted or send it to the customer to be evaluated and accepted on a particular group of options.

- Client should receive an email with inclusion of canned phrases. (Multiple creation of canned intro text added via the quote, grouped in categories). Including the link to see the quote online in a graphical manner.

- Notification to the shop owner email address to be sent upon message read and acceptance of quote

- When the link ID of the quote is seen on the web by the client, status of the quote changes to ---client review---, if possible

- The layout and code must flow with Magento structure, code and template system.

- Product layout should include Name, Price, Description, and multiple photos as popup thumbnails (using Magento Global settings) from the product sheet if any.

- Owner must be able to include any file for download residing on the server or locally, either audio, video or other files extensions. For each group option, embedded or not (Link ok).

- Must be able to link a document at the end of the quote, (i.e.; contract etc…) Not being part of a specific group or product.

- Owner must be able to change products or groups and quote after being submitted and resend it to the customer if needed, except if the quote was finalized and sent as an invoice into the shop.

- Owner must be able to see all quotes in the admin area, just like orders, and delete, add, modify any of them if need be, as well as see the status of the quotes. View, Resend, modify or delete button needed a quick links on the right or left.

- Automatic quote number generation, quote number can appear in the url.

- On the quote, the customer should have the choice to accept any groups and/or refuse all groups of products as well as be able to add a comment to explain why. Memo box type...

- Length of the quote on the net is irrelevant, the customer will need to scroll if need be.

- Time frame is stressed as well but can be busted a little bit + - 15 days


My client already has this script in an othe rprogram and wants it redone into magento.
