Description:	Simple string substitution: There are 2 files: One is the string_replace_file and the other is work file. The string_replace_file is a text delimited file with 2 records like the following: 220268720072,8811-001 ($9.95 w/ S&H) ORIG. TRANS From this file the program will grab both and place them into variables. The first variable will have everything up to the first comma: replace_var (in this case: 220268720072). The second variable is up to from the character after the comma to the first blank and this is called the find_var (in this case 8811-001. The program will then open the work file: Here is a sample record: thumbnail(1, "", "8811-001-pinupsonfilm.htm", "8811-001-pinupsonfilm_thm.jpg", 300, 249, "8811-001-PinupsOnFilm.jpg") With the find_var it will search for the first instance of the find string (in this case 8811-001) and replace EVERYTHING in the quotes from this first instance with the replace_var. Here is the final record: thumbnail(1, "", "220268720072", "8811-001-pinupsonfilm_thm.jpg", 300, 249, "8811-001-PinupsOnFilm.jpg") There may be some records in the work_file that may not be replaced as there are no values found in the search and replace file. To run the program it would be nice to put the program name followed by the work_file and then the string_replacement_file like this: findreplace <work_file> <string_replace_file> if the parameters are not present the program will ask for them.
