Description:	PLEASE NOTE You must be familiar with NING.COM to bid on this project. Please provide a link to your Ning site, even if you just set-up a test site. GOAL To create The Ning Paid Group Member Widget, a commercial Ning widget component that can be easily added to a Ning site to allow site owners to sell subscriptions to private group. THE PROBLEM For example: I am attempting to offer fee based, private online workshops for filmmakers on my Ning website. Currently what I am going to have to do is: 1. Create a paypal button and sales page for each workshop (using the page widget) 2. Create a private group for each workshop and enter the description page URL as the group info. 3. When person orders via paypal, the confrim page tells members that they will be sent a private invite after payment is confirmed... please allow 48 hours. 4. Manually send invite to member and hope they get it in their email. THE WIDGET The simplest version of the Paid Group Member Widget would simply automatically add a current site member to a private group after payment is confirmed. The member receives a confirmation email and is able to immediately access private group. I can deal with manually dropping or refunding members for the moment. But presently, a simple automated means off giving paying members access to a private area. FUTURE VERSIONS Later versions would deal with things like membership expiration, monthly subscriptions, automatic paypal button generation, even referrals and affiliates. I have researched the Ning API and see that there are means for adding members to private groups easier that registering new members. Please PMB for detailed references. I am seeking a long term relationship with a developer for a number of specialized widgets. Please price accordingly.
