Premises: 1. Database already exists: customers, products, prices, items, etc. 2. The program will do: a. Capture orders. b. Allow the creation of customers at fly. c. Allow the creation of items at fly. d. Validate item availability. e. Print the order. f. Allow order edit & void. 3. Not included at this time: Reports, could be at further product versions. 4. Methodology: a. I write a functional specification. 2 days. b. Customer approves the specification. Customer can ask for modifications at this stage. 1 to 5 days. c. I wrote the program and the test cases: 7 days. d. Customer recives the product and do the approval testing. 1 to 6 days. Delphi versions: 7 or 2006. Data access: DBX or other of your preference.
