FINANCIAL YEAR:- Is the accounting period that can start on any month of a calendar year but has twelve consecutive months (52 consecutive weeks) at the end of which accounts books are closed, profit and loss is computed, and financial reports are prepared for filing. It may or may not match a calendar year. 2. INCOME TAX YEAR:- It is the relevant tax year for income tax assessment. It is the 12-month period for which you are filing your tax returns. 3.
