Description

Hi. I have a startup about to launch in 10 days, and it looks as if we will need to host via Cloud Computing because we may get huge spikes in traffic due to some publicity support in January onwards from minor celebrities. It is an Enviromental website, with ASP.net and SQL, some Photos and Graphics, but mostly text. Not a very simple nor complicated site, but since I am not a very technical person (though I am not unknowledgeable either), I need someone to take complete responsibility for maintaining the hosting and making sure we never crash or slow down.

Need someone to help choose a provider (Amazon, GoGrid, etc) and migrate the site and configure instances, S3 backups, etc. and then monitor the performance daily and scale our bandwidth as needed. We can start by working together on the intitial setup, then if all goes well, we can work out an arrangement for some monthly amount to be paid for regular maintenance.

I am very loyal to my team, some of them I found on this site and others, and have been with me for 6+ years on other projects, I am very clear in my communication and very reasonable in my expectations, so I hope you will enjoy working with me.

But I also like to work with only the most responsible and brightest people, and those who go the extra mile by treating the website like their own, so if you have an entrepreneurial attitude and want to grow with our startup and maybe get more and more responsibility, I would love to talk to you!
