Description

I have a need for some server side audio processing. This job entails reading .xml files and making .mp3 files from the content of the .xml file. Basically you will be merging drum sounds together to form a drum beat or song.

I was told C++, libsndfile, and tinyxml was a good choice for this but any programming lanuguage may be used so long as it works.

Please see the attached file for more explanation about this job.

I can accomplish this in either python, erlang, php or a combination of these to provide the characteristics you may require (such as concurrency and scalability). I have experience in sound manipulation in low-level languages(C,C++) as well as in python. Looking forward to your reply.

Hi there, I have several years of experience working with Linux, audio, and "glue scripts" like this. I'd probably use Python to read the files and glue together some low level command line audio tools for outputting the mp3s.
