Description

We have a working site running on Zen Cart 1.3.8. There are a number of issues that need fixing:

1.There is a problem on a link on the front page, the link goes to the wrong url. It should go to the E-Z pages but it is trying to find website.co.uk/how-to-fit. The page doesn’t exist. We think it is to do with the SEO URLs recently installed.

2.Also we have an EZ page with product brochures. The Product Brochures Page works but the links to the PDF’s did not. The PDFs were in a folder /admin/pdf. /admin was renamed under a security recommendation. Now the front page link cant find the pdf folder. Temporarily fixed by creating a new dummy /admin/pdf folder but now we cant update the brochures from the admin panel.

3. The H1 title tags don’t work on the product pages. (OK on category pages)There is an error in the template. The H1 title should match the category or product title. The fix is here:

Question: We don’t have any H1 tags on any of the product pages. Is this something that can be done from the admin panel?

Answer: You can thank your Template Monster template for making "Product Details" the <h1> for the product info page, and the actual product name just a <span>. That is unspeakably stupid, and another reason to never use a TM template.

You should be able to fix this in /includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_product_info_display.php, unless TM has put in some other filename.

4. We installed MagneticOne XML sitemap but it doesn’t work. Another programmer thought there was a bug, but they didn’t know Zen Cart. Can you look at this and tell us if it will work or do we need an upgrade?
