Description
Ideally, the shopping cart will be powered by ProductCart from Early Impact http://www.earlyimpact.com/productcart/index.asp .The language is ASP. And the shopping cart documentation can be found here: http://www.earlyimpact.com/pdf/ProductCart_v3_Manual.zip
We need a web developer who will be able to customize the ProductCart product.

You might also bid if you have alternative shopping cart solutions that can provide maximum usability and high conversion. Please do not try to sell solutions based on free open source carts such as Zen cart or Oscommerce.
We will provide all layout mock-ups. You will not have to design... Just develop it.
Here are the elements that need to be developed:
- header and footer from our design
- homepage body from our design. The homepage should have a CMS to manage content. See our benchmark website http://www.neimanmarcus.com/
- 7-8 Product category introduction pages from our design. Looks like the homepage but features only the products from this category. The page should have a CMS to manage content. - Custom left navigation bar
- Product characteristics page display from our design

“Find your Inspiration” Section. This section proposes different bedroom settings and showcasing different styles. The visitor browses and picks his/her style. Then, all products matching the visitor style are displayed.
I. Website Requirements
Look and Feel. The look and feel should be appealing and compelling to our primary audience which is women.
Page Layout. Every page has a common structure consisting of
the header – the body – the footer:
Header: logo, security seal, search engine, shopping cart, quick contact, quick help, and main product categories. The header is consistent through all pages
Body: The body is customized to either introduce a product category, to present a product, or to be used for other content
Footer: contains secondary sections such as Privacy, About, contact, resources, site map… The footer is consistent through all pages
Navigation. The navigation is intuitive and easy. It takes into account what are the majority of visitors are looking for and deliver it quickly.
Home Page. The body of the home page features the product categories. The ad rotates to refresh the page frequently. The second element of the home page features the “Find your inspiration” section
Product category Intro Page. Each product category functions like the home page featuring a particular product of this category
Ordering Process. This process is easy and quick
Trust Elements. There is a need to convey that the buying process is safe and secured:
Security seals
Privacy
If the project is completed in good manners, there will be a bonus. A clone of the website above will be developed using the same structure but with a different branding.
