Hello,My name is Andrew. I run a successful blog called Lyved (http://www.lyved.com). I recently had a new custom blog design created in photoshop but now I need someone who can turn it into a fully functioning wordpress theme. I need it to be able to run with the latest version of wordpress and have the design be xhtml/css compliant. It also has to be able to work with plugins as well and in all major browsers.
Attached to this post is a screenshot of the design. The design drifts a little away from the traditional wordpress design to more of a magazine layout. The latest article is featured at the top, with the older one at the bottom.
Also here are a few other things I want implemented in the design:
- Thin gray border around all images.
- Comments from writer/admin accounts will have a different color background.
- Is there any way to include scaled down images for the other articles on the homepage? Whatever the first image used in the post is will appear small in the post’s intro. Possible plugin for this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-attached-image/
I’m really eager to get this design coded and implemented. It’s the next step in taking Lyved from a popular blog to one of the top blogs.
Please keep in mind I have a very small budget, as I have to move my blog to a new server to handle the traffic.
