Description

Last year you helped me with a project to assist people with managing their DVD collection. I would like some modifications as it is not saleable at the moment.

A) Remove the logo in the opening screen and replace with a list of the DVD’s in the database – fields to display “Name”, “Program Type” “Rating” “Review” “Purchase Price” with a total # of DVD’s and sum of “Purchase Price”. If possible, allow changing of column width, sort by clicking on column heading and print from this screen. Also, it would be good if double clicking on a record on this list takes the user to the full record
B) Remove the actors names completely – it is too messy in its current format – and replace with an “Actors” field that is just a free-form text field. Same “shape” as the current on is fine. On needs to create new line
C) I also need some way to filter the list (would be great to be able to do by title, rating and genre).
D) Would like some sort of search function allowing wildcard searches. Allow search on “Name”, “Director”, “Year” and “Actors” with results returned in format as per (A) above.
E) Remove “Actors” icons (no longer required) and change “tool tip” for exit.
F) Some way for me to add a help file. Maybe a link to an HTML file that will be in the same directory as the program when installed?

As per original project, this is a “work for hire” arrangement and I will require all source code, etc, at the end of the project

Is this possible?
