Description: Specs: I would like a Script/Program to extract the 1st Post from each new thread in certain forum categories.. so lets say there are 100 original post and 500 responses within each post in a forum category i want to be able to extract information from the 1st post on each category. so i would want information from all 100 posts... i do not need the other posts below the 1st.

Needed information:
1.) Name & description of thread - ( is located in title )
2.) Updater/creator of thread - ( is the name of the person that posted )
3.) Main link - ( the website link in the web address bar above )
4.) Forum ID - ( this is a # in the web address bar. it is always in a specific spot.
5.) Location - ( this is also in the web address bar it is a name type description i only have less than 10 i need to match up. can give you a list so it can match them.
6.) there are also downloads available in each post. i would like to be able to download the files into a folder and use the ( #4 Forum ID ) to number the folder so i can find it later. & if possible save a copy of the webpage as well in there. but the webpage wont kill me on that part if i can't do it :)

I will need to be able to change the script/download to use on different forum categories as needed. so i need to be able to edit it.
I would like some type of a start/stop date on what dates to pull down and not to pull down. so i don't duplicate everything over & over & over.
