yes, this can be done as a one button automation. simply, excell is not made to do database operation. even if you can import/link data from acces, it's easier to make all calculations in access and then lauch the mailmerge from word. if the bill layout changes a lot between customers, we can even build the word document dynamically from access. everything is possible, but the simplest is the best...

You can use VB6 then output report to excel. But I'd rather suggest to use VB6's datareport for your mailmerge requirement. I can do this in 3 days. Just send me the format of your billing and the structure of your access database. I will send you the program and you only pay when satisfied.

It would be better if you create a report in Access that does the calculations. The report would be your invoice, doing away with Word altogether. I could this if you're not sure how.

Hi, The answer of your first question is yes while some import might be require. I don't know nothing about Microsoft Office Accounting Express. The price I quoted here is for making a program that can import the data directly from your access database/excel and do the calculation and generating shipping labels when you need to.
