Description: I have built a simple HTML website for my neighborhood: www.gofoxhall.com. I want to password protect one page of the site:

http://www.gofoxhall.com/neighborhood_directory.html, so that I can post a PDF of the neighborhood directory. I built the website in Dreamweaver and its all HTML. I don't know PHP or ASP and don't want to have to redo the site just to protect this one page.

A widget is fine but I don't want someone to hack into the page by viewing the page source code. Budget: $25.

Hi, I can easily do this using HTTP authentication (through .htaccess file) or in Javascript with strong hashing algorithms (i.e. MD5) so that it can't be reversed. 25$ is OK. Keep in touch, Miki

I can either add a password field and 'submit' button to the present page or have the link go to a password login type page first. Either would then, if password were correct, link to the desired data document.
