In this document i just wanted to outline a few KEY points which i believe is necessary for the site to be the BEST of its kind. So ill start.....

Online Shops: On my original website we have an mp3 store and a vinyl store. Both these shops are hosted on 3rd party servers www.trackitdown.net and www.ukdancerecords.com the backend database is pointing to the guys who own these 2 sites and when setting the shop up I will gather all the information you need and also put you in contact with the people to help you set it all up with ease. We would like the option to be allowed to add items to our shop if this is possible as we also want to have a ticket box for events and also merchandise from the website and also 3rd party vendors. We can talk about this if it is a problem.

Photo Gallery: In this section or tab will be the gallery of photos which will be split into 2 categories .
Member Galleries and
Djing.ie galleries

In the members gallery we would need an option for members to upload photos to be processed by us before we show them.

In the djing.ie galleries we would like to have the option in the control panel to add the images in as we need and for them to show in full colour and with limitless capacity. This area is imperative to us and needs to look really professional and sleek so if attention to detail could be set on this task.

Bebo clone: This is the most important element to the site and this will be the page that will show up when you go to www.djing.ie . It must have all the features of www.bebo.com and look exactly the same. This is what people will see once they have signed up and not before. So the homepage needs to be a page where new members can see what is going on and have all the info about the site. As discussed with Manu another element is the SKINS which we need to find out how bebo or 3rd party people code them and basically take that idea into our site. The option to copy or use a person’s SKIN is also a major plus as this is what half the fun of bebo is searching for new skins and updating them daily so we need to get this part correct and exact. Features of bebo such as send love and allowing people to see your latest comments ect. Also the option for groups and bands and upload pics page. Also the option to have your page PRIVATE is essential this simply means if you are not a friend of someone and you try to view there page it will tell you “sorry you are not authorized to view this persons profile “it will then give you the option to add this person and send a mail to the person for authorization. I could go on all day about this part but ill leave it at that I’m sure u know the deal.


Latest News: We will need to have access from the backend to add news and publish it. We will be adding full colour flyers and pictures with this news so this needs to be allowed.


Upcoming Gigs: Again with this colour flyers will need to be added here and also a calendar if possible which would have links to each date and each gig on that particular date.

Forum: As it says on the tin but i also want an added bonus for members which is a mixes section where members and our team can upload mixes for users to download. Each mix could be 100mb so will need a speedy upload and download if possible?? I will give you the top choices for each menu within the forum when i have them.

Sign up by text message: We have been thinking about this and we need to talk some more before we go ahead with it. We are thinking when a member sign up to complete his registration he must text lets say 53888 which will cost a once off 50cents. If we decide to go for this we would need you to set up some kind of system for this to work for us??
