Description

I am looking for a new web design partner who is available to create 1-2 websites per week. I sell web design projects to small businesses. My previous partner, who I met through a site similar to getafreelancer, will no longer be available after June 1st, so I need to find a new one. My previous partner created 85 sites for me over the past 1.5 years. Many of these can be seen at http://www.communitycomm.com/portfolio.htm . I expect to sell a greater volume of sites this year.

To select my next partner, I am holding an audition. Depending on the response, I may end up selecting 2 partners instead of 1.
There are 2 steps to this audition.

Step 1. You must provide me with pricing info for a long-term relationship. Please provide pricing for the following HTML sites:
• Home page design only
• Design and create site with 5 or fewer pages
• Design and create site with 5 - 10 pages
• Design and create site with 10 - 15 pages
• Design and create site with 15 - 20 pages

Also, please indicate whether there is any extra cost for the following features (I prefer not to pay extra for these).

• Forms (see www.wickedcheesy.com/event_planner.htm for example)
• Gift card purchase (see www.fortunatosrestaurant.com/giftcard.htm for example)
• Rollover photo enlargement (see www.thegoldenbanana.com/club.htm for example)

Also provide your pricing/policies for ongoing maintenance.

(I currently pay $175 for sites of 15 pages or fewer. However, as you can see from the http://www.communitycomm.com/portfolio.htm portfolio page, most sites are only 6 – 8 pages. )

Alternatively, you can propose that I pay for a full-time web designer/developer on a monthly basis if you think this makes more sense. However, the person must be capable of both creating beautiful designs and developing the HTML.

Step 2. Based on the pricing information, I will select up to 10 bidders to participate in the audition. Each must create a home page design for a fake business called Our Place Family Restaurant. Please see the attached instructions.

As a show of good faith, I will pay each company $20 for participating. Sorry I cannot pay more but I will not be using any of these designs, and $200 is the most I can afford to waste.
From the completed designs, I will then select the best 1 or 2 companies to be my long-term development partner.
