Description

We are looking for a Software Development Manager to lead the design and integrate of a CMS, user forum, documentation wiki and ticketing system for our company. This is an ongoing, long-term, part-time, remote job where the manager will report directly to the CEO and interact with a team of developers. Excellent English writing skills are a requirement.

The Software Development Manager's role will begin by understanding the requirements in order to propose a preliminary solution. The desired solution outline the integration of open-source tools that can be integrated with our web site's existing user-authentication system (or justify the replacement with a common sign-on process).

The role will later include responsibility for specifying software requirements and user interfaces, developing user stories and overseeing design and development.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

* Experience shipping one or more large-scale, highly available internet applications
* Driving software schedules in any software lifecycle methodology
* Programming experience is a plus
* Experience with open-source CMS, Forum, Wiki and Ticketing engines is a plus
