Midwest Fight League Website, “The Midwest’s Premier Fight League”

This website would be for Midwest Fight League, a MMA Fight Promotion organization based out of Columbia, MO. The overall layout and theme should reflect the sport that we are promoting with maybe some fight figure silhouettes, ring girls, etc (I can provide photos)… we would also like to put a face to “Midwest Fight League” or “MFL”… so we also need a logo design that would give us an image for people to remember. We want Midwest Fight League to be "BRANDED" if you will. When someone sees the logo, they will know exactly what it is and who we are.

* Newsletter Signup must ALWAYS be visible from page to page (saying receive 10% off your next store purchase by signing up)
* Need a control panel or content management system to update news & announcements on front page, update and maintain photo/video gallery, update event results, email newsletter management & campaigns and the ability to edit/update products in the "Store".

Brief Description of Each Page:
Home: This page will be where all new information, such as news & announcements of upcoming events will be posted. We must be able to post images and links during each post so that we can post the event flyer and link to the Store page to purchase tickets. This page should be very attractive and set the tone for the rest of the content. It should randomly display "Featured Items" from the Store to promote sales. I'd also like to see an enticing "Become A Fighter" and "Become A Ring Girl" button on this page (links to fillable form).

About Us: This webpage will give a general description of who MFL is and what we are about. Content will be provided.

Event Results: This is where results from past events would be posted. This page would need to be editable also and have a thumbnail of each event’s flyer. That image will link to a new page where the results of the selected event will be posted.
Pictures/Videos: Fully functional photo/video gallery that allows “Albums” and “Album Covers” so that we can use each event’s flyer as the “Album Cover” and organize photos from each show under each album.

Fighter Recruitment: This page would be a simple fill-able form for fighters to fill out if they are interested in fighting in one of MFL’s events. Fields would be: [Name, DOB, Weight, Phone Number, Address, City, State, Zip, Training Camp, Current Record, Amateur or Pro?]

Learn MMA: A feature on Hulett House Gym will be provided.

Store: This is where you can purchase merchandise such as DVDs, T-Shirts, Hats, Posters & More. This page would need to be able to be updated to add new merchandise and remove old merchandise.
Press: This page should also be editable for videos, pictures, and links to be posted on Press Releases regarding MFL.

Contact Us: A simple fill-able form. We may have a few phone numbers and address listed also.

Sponsors: I would like to make the sponsors visable throughout the entire website (maybe down each side of the layout).

***EXPECTATIONS: I would expect this project to be completed within 10 business days. After the inital deadline, I would allow an additional 5 days for revisions & changes that I would deem necessary.

This website would be for Midwest Fight League, a MMA Fight Promotion organization based out of Columbia, MO. The overall layout and theme should be very clean & professional yet still reflect the sport that we are promoting. I would like to put a face to “Midwest Fight League” or “MFL”… so I require that the project also include a logo design that would give us an image for people to remember. I expect a few examples to start off with as a base and possibly tweak them a bit (unless you just suprise me with something amazing). The logo should make Midwest Fight League a "BRANDED" organization, if you will. When people see the logo, they will know exactly what it is we do and who we are. The logo should certainly incorporate either "Midwest Fight League" or "MFL" with some sort of mma gloves, fists, fighter sillohettes, etc. (suprise me!) in the logo.

* I will provide overall content, fields to fillable forms, account info to install on my host, pictures/media, payment processing gateway account information, where emails for different forms should be sent, etc. once the project has been awarded to you.

Brief Description of Each Page:
Home: This page should be very attractive and set the tone for the rest of the project. I'm very attracted to the idea of having a "flash bar" on the page that rotates images/mma action shots but I'm afraid it may clutter the page? The main focus of this page will be primarily on the next upcoming "event" AND trying to get people to "sign up" (for marketing purposes through email reminding them of upcoming shows, promotions, etc). I'd like to see a focal "Sign Up" portal that is constant and a "Login" portal for current users as well. All new information, such as news & announcements of upcoming events will be posted from the central control panel or content management system. We must be able to post images and links during each post so that we can post the event flyer and link to the tickets in the Store. It should randomly display "Featured Items" from the Store to promote sales of merchandise. I'd also like to see "Become A Fighter" and "Become A Ring Girl" buttons. The "Become A Fighter" button will direct to the "Fighter Recruitment" page. The "Become A Ring Girl" button should link to a new page with a fillable form and an option to attach an image (picture of themselves). In addition, it is imparitive that we display Sponsor ads (that I can edit picture/text/link options from the control panel) on the home page possibly along the sides but I don't want it to look cluttered (we may just do the sponsors logo as an image that links to them externally).

About Us: This page will give a general description of who MFL is and what we are about. Content should be able to be provided and edited by me through the Control Panel.

Event Results: This is where results from past events will be posted. This page would need to be editable through the Control Panel. The page itself will display a "Flyer" of each event that we have had with a caption underneath the image. That image will link to a new page (dedicated strictly to that event) where the results of the selected event will be posted, this page will also supply a link at the bottom of the results that says "Buy the DVD of *Event Title" (*Event Title - ie Throwdown @ The Fairgrounds) to the corresponding DVD of *Event Title in the Store..

Pictures/Videos (Multimedia?): Only Members (who have signed up for free which adds them to the Newsletter) can see the Pictures/Videos. Fully functional photo/video gallery that allows “Albums” and “Album Covers” so that we can use each event’s flyer as the “Album Cover” and organize photos from each event under each album, similar to the Event Results except instead of opening that Event's results it will open the gallery for that Album. Under these images/videos I'd like to see the "Share" options for popular social sites (facebook, etc.).

Fighter Recruitment: This page would be a simple fill-able form for fighters to fill out if they are interested in fighting in one of MFL’s events. Fields would be: [Name, DOB, Weight, Phone Number, Address, City, State, Zip, Training Camp, Current Record, Amateur or Pro?] I'd also like this page to be editable through the Control Panel.

Learn MMA: This page should also be able to be edited through the Control Panel as it will just be 1 or 2 images and some text about the gym that we run as well.

Store: This is where you can purchase merchandise such as DVDs, T-Shirts, Hats, Posters & More. This page would obviously need to be able to be edited through the Control Panel. The Store should have the abilities to add Categories & Sub-Categories, Multiple sizes/options available for products such as clothing, Apply/Edit/Accept Promotional Codes that I control, Creates "Account" which adds users to the Newsletter, Remembers their address/billing info, etc, and allows them to view the Pictures/Videos now that they are a Member and logged in.
- The Control Panel should show me what orders have been placed, what orders need shipped, payments cleared, etc.

Press: This page should also be editable through the Control Panel to be able to post videos, pictures, and links to Press Releases regarding MFL.

Contact Us: A simple fill-able form for Members to contact us that should be editable in the Control Panel.

* Account Signup (basically to the Ecommerce system) must ALWAYS be visible from page to page (saying receive 10% off your first store purchase by signing up) which will in turn sign them up to the Newsletter or email system (which will only allow them to use the 10%off promotional code that should be sent out in the generic very first Thank You email for signing up.

* Need a control panel or content management system that shows pending orders, orders need to be shipped, etc, also need to update news & announcements on front page, update and maintain photo/video gallery, update event results, email newsletter management & campaigns (such as First Thank You sign up letter with 10% off code) and the ability to edit/update products in the "Store".

***EXPECTATIONS: I would expect this project to be completed within 10 business days. After the inital deadline, I expect to be able to demo the Control Panel and Sign Up as a Member and test the overall system. I would allow an additional 5 days for revisions & changes that I would deem necessary after reviewing and demoing the system.
