Description:	This requirement has arisen due to our webmaster leaving the company and because of the problems this has caused, we have decided to outsource the design and maintenance of our simple web site. Out current website is hosted using Fantastico and Joomla. It has six pages with a MySQL backend for searching and maintaining a support database. There is also a form for requesting information. The website address is www.bitech.co.uk The website is currently hosted by www.4uhosting.co.uk who we would like to move away from after phase one. There are three phases to the project, the first of which is what you are bidding on. Phase 1 Urgent content updates to the website in its present form. There will be a maximum of one additional page, but mostly just new content on the existing layout. We would also like a quote for a monthly fee to perform similar work in the future. Some months there will be no updates, other months there may be a few. Phase 2 Move the website to our preferred hosting supplier www.fasthosts.co.uk plus increasing search engine rankings for key products. We have no preference as to whether the site is hosted on Windows or LINUX, but we are not interested in anything other than basic HTML (i.e. no Flash, Java, ActiveX etc) We would like to retain the search facility, information request form and support database, so I am guessing we’ll need some sort of database backend for this. If increasing rankings is considered too specialist and best done as a separate task then please state this and only quote for the other work. Phase 3 Extend the capabilities of the web site to include ecommerce. This is will have two main areas. One is to sell the limited range of our own products (between 25 and 50 items), the other is to import a CSV file once a week of 5000 line items that we resell. Our preferred payments partner is Paypal (Website Payments Standard). While this post is for Phase 1 only (and the budget limited), we would like to hear quotes for Phase 2 and Phase 3 (where there is more budget available) as part of your response as we would like to develop and maintain a relationship with the same supplier if possible.
