Description
Provide redesigned innovative focused simplified home page template. No database coding or integration with existing site necessary. Users should know what the site does within seconds of the page loading. I am looking for a high quality, professional, attractive, attention grabbing home page redesign.General Guidelines:
Use valid, semantic, accessible, SEO aware, XHTML/CSS based design (including titles, metatags, H1, H2, etc. -- more details will be provided)
Avoid use of positioning tables
Place all CSS in external files
Build for fluid, or partially fluid design, rather than fixed width
Ensure high visible contrast; the site should look crisp and clear
Eliminate or significantly limit header links to focus on key site goals;
Home page will focus on drawing in two different types of prospective users, as well as a login for existing users, and perhaps drill down and targeted quick search capabilities as an additional way of drawing in users.
Feedback link should be included.
Footer links should include links to various parts of site.
JavaScript should be unobtrusive. The page should work even when JavaScript is not available.
Will include work with graphics/images
Web 2.0 techniques can be included or suggested as specific future enhancements that fit into the new design

Please provide examples of sites that you have designed and your process for providing drafts, obtaining feedback and making revisions. Mockups recommended.
After home page redesign, the rest of the site will need to be redesigned, so whoever does a good job on this project may receive additional work. Additional guidelines will be provided.
