Description

Due to a modification pertaining to my overall requirements, I canceled my previous project proposal and posted this new updated project proposal.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Please read everything here before bidding and do not bid unless you are confident you can do this job to completion!

BID:
Open Bid project - Try to keep it within my budget but if you feel it would cost a little more, do not hesitate to detail in a PM about what you plan on doing and why your price is higher. I will read everyone’s PM but will definitely be leaning towards awarding this job to those bidding within my budget range which is $100-$180!

JOB TYPE:
My demand is simple and straightforward. What I require is Photoshop graphic design work.

I require a partial re-design with some graphics (no coding involved) for the landing page and some improvements (graphics also) for the internal pages. I need my overall design to appear more professional and pleasant looking. I feel that something is missing...

Momentarily, all that is visible is the coming soon page, as the site is not yet launched. I have uploaded 3 JPEG images: the landing page and 2 internal pages of the site for you to grasp the current design and see what you could do to improve it according to my requirements herein.

Regarding my current design, I would like to hear your views first to what approach you aim to take and what you envisage for the partial re-design of the home page and also concerning the graphics for the internal pages. I am open to any comments/suggestions; if you consider the overall design is also in need of improvement, do not hesitate to let me know. I am going for a web 2.0 feel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
My website is a multi language incentive website, available to users worldwide that awards users with points in exchange for trying online products and services. These points are redeemable for free products which are available on the website. I am targeting people of all ages and demographics.

The landing page is for promotional use and needs to transmit a professional, fresh, clean and stylish design to entice users to enter the website. The menu bar and header (the large orange area where the XML image folio menu is of the landing page), and the footer of the current design are to be retained. The functionality of this XML image folio menu bar can be seen at the following link: http://www.rnbmarine.com/?jfxweb and will illustrate a product category for each image. I.E Mobile Phones, Video Games and Consoles... etc. Only the area where the text content is: ‘What is PrizeZap’, ‘How Does It Work’, and ‘Featured Sponsors’ is to be re-designed and improved and comprise a better more appealing structural layout. Colors and fonts can be adjusted, if necessary, but graphics is a must and have to be included in the re-design.

Naturally, the landing page must have some resemblance to the rest of the website (internal pages).

To assist you and to give you a general idea of what I seek, here is a list of a couple of websites I feel have a nice layout (graphics):

1) http://www.xpango.com/fe/htm/home/home_gaming.asp
I like the banner type graphics they use for the sections on this page: ‘Why Xpango’, ‘Worldwide Delivery’, etc… I would like something similar for some of the internal pages of my website.

2) http://www.trialpay.com/shoppers/
I like the graphics used for the section ‘How Does TrialPay work?’ I am interested in similar graphics, without being identical (for obvious legal reasons) for the ‘How It Works’ section of my landing page: ‘Select’, ‘Earn’, ‘Refer’, ‘Receive’.

If I were to use a website as a prime example for the landing page, it would be www.flickr.com without a doubt; their landing page is clean, effective and professional. The description of their site using the 4 graphics (share & stay in touch, upload and organize, make stuff, explore) says it all.

TO SUMMARIZE:
- Requirements for the landing page: To be based on the landing page of www.flickr.com.

1) Where the flickr logo and picture is along with the text to the right with the search bar is where the orange section (xml folio image) of my site is to be.

2) Where the 4 graphics on the flickr landing page are: (share & stay in touch, upload and organize, make stuff, explore) is where I require graphics to be used for the ‘How It Works’ section of my landing page: ‘Select’, ‘Earn’, ‘Refer’, ‘Receive’. These graphics are to be like those used on the website http://www.trialpay.com/shoppers/ but applicable to the color/design layout of my website. There is also to be a text description underneath each image.

3) Where the section on the flickr landing page where the ‘Take the Tour’ button is located is where the ‘Featured Sponsors’ section is to be.

4) Amidst all of this, I need to also integrate in the landing page the text in the section ‘What is Prize…’ This is where creativity is a must.
The areas that are NOT to be modified are the orange area with the XML folio image (illustrating the categories), the footer, and of course the LOGO. I only require that the designated areas ('How It works', 'What Is Prize…’ and 'Featured Sponsors') that currently are only in ‘text’ be replaced by a more web 2.0 feel layout like www.flickr.com.

- Requirements for internal pages: Graphics only, and are to be based on the graphic banners used on http://www.xpango.com/fe/htm/home/home_gaming.asp

The layout of the internal pages are not to be modified; only some graphics are required to render a couple of the internal pages more appealing. I require graphic type banners similar to what www.xpango.com use for their sections - ‘Why Xpango?’, ‘Worldwide Delivery’ etc. I want to improve the section ‘Why Prize…’ on the design of my internal pages and replace it with some graphical banner. You can see my current ‘Why Prize…’ section of the internal pages of my website on the Jpeg files I have uploaded.

Well that is it, I apologize for this lengthy explanation, I just want to ensure that my requirements are clear. If you interested, please mention what you would envisage, the duration and your quote for this work.

I thank you in advance and look forward to your reply,

Kind regards,

Christian
