Description:	We represent a Scandinavian SMB that seeks sales agents for a package of three English language educational DVDs on various topics related to geriatric care. We also seek a sales representative for the Swedish edition. The DVDs are produced in Scandinavia and uphold a high professional standard. We are looking for someone who will work on a commission basis, one who speaks English (resp. Swedish) without any accent and is able to communicate with nurses and social workers on matters concerning how to support elderly people in need of assistance. A nurse or health worker would be perfect. Others may bid, but you must convince us that you know this sector. The target groups for the DVDs are schools, nursing homes, vocational trainers, curricula developers, publishers, libraries, etc. You will introduce the costumers to the following three DVDs: DVD 1 - Title: Working with people – an introduction to the nursing assistant profession This video is directed at students, untrained professionals, substitutes and others who are unfamiliar with the nursing assistant profession. It gives a good introduction to working in an institution or in home health care, and treats the following topics; How to assist a bed patient with daily care; Good hygiene; The Ethics of the health care field; Documentation; Professional secrecy; Observing the patient; Other relevant topics such as family visits, meals and social activities. DVD 2 - Title: Communication and cooperation in the care of persons with dementia The patient suffering from dementia has a special need for protection and care, as he is unable to look after his own rights and needs. This patient is only to a small extent able to protect himself, let alone file a complaint on the treatment he’s receiving. The focus of this video is exactly on the dilemma concerning the extremely difficult situation of the patient suffering from dementia. The emphasis of the video is how to achieve good communication and cooperation with the demented person. The DVD touches on the following topics; Adapting the surroundings; Communication; Well-being and a sense of belonging; Supportive behaviour; Guidance; How to handle anxiety and aggressive behaviour. DVD 3 - Title: Hygiene in nursing homes and home based health care services Professional guidelines to hygiene in institutions and health care services are the basis for this training video. This video is aimed to prevent the spread of infection and disease in the interaction with residents/ patients/ persons in need of assisted care. The video shows typical situations which may occur in a nursing home; Correct hand hygiene; Hygiene at mealtime; Uniforms; Hygiene in the disinfecting room; How to assist a resident to the toilet, etc. Net based workbook The videos are also available as a net based workbook. Access to this resource based on annual licence fee is an alternative option for customers. Conditions You will be required to present the DVD’s and/or web site for customers by way of phone, email or personal appointment. A pdf pamphlet and video clips on a web site are available to support you in this work. Except for the Swedish edition the markets are in all English communities with a developed service for geriatric people/patients: Ireland, UK, US, Australia, Canada and New Zeeland, etc. Please make clear in the bid where your geographical region is. Please note that you will have to find the contact information for the costumers in your geographical district yourself. You will be compensated per sale for each order that is effectuated and paid.
