Description

Using MS Office 2003.

Word Document connected to Access Database Query.

Access module allows user to select a record and open a word document to display and edit the data in editable fields that would update the source database when the word document is closed. All implementation code should be written in Access VBA and Word VBA.

All data transfers using XML.

The amount of data fed to the word document is not important and can be adjusted as needed. It could include the date, record number and three text field. The record can be selected using a simple form allowing data entry with an automatically generated record number and a button to launch the word document.
