Description: I have many columns of numbers in an Excel spreadsheet. You can see the attached example. As you can see there are 6 columns of numbers separated by an empty column and then 3 more columns. Those 3 columns are a direct result of the first 6.
I want a script that will be based on data mining formulas such as regression analysis to simply find the relationship between the 2.
The script should be able to go through the many rows of numbers and come up with a formula that will match the two sides. Once that is done, if I give a set of numbers, the script should be able to predict, based on the formula it has come up with, the second set of numbers. That is it. Very simple!!!
P.S. The word document gives a more detailed example!!!
P.P.S. I believe that regression analysis only performs operations with one result and I have 3 so I’m not sure what type of operation must be performed to do that.
