Description

It is a VB6 to VBA migration project, on a Access database for us to store customer information, shipping records and payment status (dates and amounts).

We have 2 forms that we have just migrated from VB6 into the VBA under MS Access. They are working fine now but we have 1 more form to be migrated. The migration of the 2 forms were completed within 3 hours.

We will need a freelance VB6/VBA programmer to help in migrating the last form - to take a plain text input file with a list of shipping ID and Tracking ID (comes in pair), and update the Tracking ID into one Access Table once the shipping ID matches (shipping ID is pre-created).

All the database tables have been designed and created already.

It is not a hard project, and most of the effort will be spend in the knowledge transfer of the current VBA code/database. The reason for us to outsource is that we wish to establish a long-term relationship with a freelance programmer who understand the functionality of our database and to help in further customization whenever necessary.

The upcoming customization includes (these are for information purpose only and should not be included for this project bidding price):
- Automatic email notification 7 days after the shipment is sent (to follow up with customer)
- To be able to process payment records from the raw data downloaded from the bank (currently it is able to process Paypal payment only)
- To build Customer Relationship module - in order to support premium service to our VIP customers
