Will use .NET - VB2005 IDE to avoid any OS issues, using the existing Access Database and the OLEDB class in VB. The end users will not need to have MS Access installed - To them it will look nothing short of an application. If you like I can show you my previous work which has been with small offices using similar techniques.

Hi. There is no current mechanism to convert an Access 2000 .MDB file to an .EXE file, short of totally re-writing the application in a compiled language (e.g., VB), and writing the data to a binary format. However, what you can do is distribute the .MDB file, along with a "free" version of the Access runtime (this is totally legal and permissible). This entire bundle can be packaged using Micrsofot's Visual Studio tools. I have extensive experience doing this, and could do the above along with your requirement to have the facility to add additional records. The language requirement would need to be discussed further, so that I fully understand it.
