Description

I have a program that as been design for my business. I’d like to make some changes to the software and fix some errors. Most of those changes can be done pretty quick.
First of all, I need to give you more details about what we do so you can understand better how the software works:
We are a small company located in a touristic place. We film the tourists during the excursion (we make video of them). Those videos are delivered the day after the excursion to their different hotels (each hotel have a different point of delivery).
When the tourists buy the video they usually fill a paper form (with their names, hotel, room, …). They also pay a part of the total price (as a deposit. It can be done in 3 different currencies) and they will pay the rest at their hotel to the point of delivery. The amount of this deposit is also specified on the paper form.
All the information written on the paper form is entered in the software.
With the information, the software can calculate various things like the commission to pay to each cameraman every 15 days, what owes each point of delivery, statistics, discount and bonus applied for the cameraman…)
I need to make few changes to the software:
- I want to modify a payment report for the cameramen (how the report looks)
- I want to modify some reports and add some details to it
- I want to be able to change the commission and specified the effective date of the change without affecting previews entries. And also be able to change it by myself.
- I’d like to create an easy Set up file to be able to install the software in any computer. And also and easy way to back up and restore the database.
- I want to modify a little bit of text that appears on some reports
- There is also few calculate errors that I want to fix
- There is also 2 weird bugs that I want to fix: 1- the database file grows bigger and bigger. 2- I sometimes have a Time out elapsed expired message.

The program has been developing with Visual Basic.net, SQL, and Crystal Report.
The software is in Spanish.
I would be supplying the source code.
I want the source code after the changes are made.
These are the main changes, they are others small changes on the functionality and report.
But I’ll give you additional information when you’ll understand better how the software works. I will helps a lot giving you all the explanations that you’ll need (I’ll be available on messenger most part of the time).
