Description

I have to log onto Fedexe's web site everyday and download an inbound spreadsheet. The is one login screen and multiple url's after that. Once at the correct URL, I have to select two additional options to get the download onto my desktop.

I want an application (windows, desktop, vb.net, 2003) that will log into Fedex, go to the appropriate URL, make the appropriate selections and download the file into a directory on my desktop.

This will not go through an IIS server, just a desktop application.

I want to embed this code into an existing vb.net (vb desktop) application, therefore, it must be VS2003 vb.net. All source code will be a part of this project as I must be able to modify the URL's and passwords in the event that Fedex changes their web site (as I know they will).

(No Feedback Yet)

I'm not sure if you have considered this but what you want to do can be accomplished pretty quickly with an automated macro program such as AutoHotKey (http://www.autohotkey.com/). These application will capture your mouse and keystrokes and generate a script that can be executed to repeat the process. I've used it from time to time for process automation. The created script can be integrated into your VB.Net application with a Shell statement or a Process object, depending on the amount of feedback you want in your application. In any case, I can whip up a script and provide code for embedding it into your VB.Net application. It shouldn't take more than a few hours and you can update the script pretty easily if FedEx's page changes.
