Description

Summary:
The requirement is to create a set of VB.net screens which will be used as a [thick] client application for several purposes:
- Supporting the creating of a video recording via webcam;
- Collection of metadata about the video being recorded;
- Collection of user responses to questions stored in local Oracle database.

Detail:
- Webcam control used to support the recording of a video and display footage recorded via webcam and save recorded file locally.
- Program would need to support playback and re-recording by end user to ultimately end up with a recording they are happy with.
- Target end-user interface will be a touch screen display WITHOUT a keyboard; therefore a keyboard-overlay is required to support collection of text data fields such as Name, Email, Telephone number etc where necessary.
- Extraction of n questions and m responses from Oracle database and render this dynamically on screen with button controls for responses.
-Identification of Questions and Response and submission of Responses, will be through calling existing stored procedures.

- Update of local Oracle database with data collected from controls and file name of webcam recording – This will be carried out through calling an existing stored procedure.

Data structures, views and stored procedures are already defined. Screen definitions already defined. Just require the user interface developing to interact with the database and webcam

Responsibilities
We will provide the Oracle DDL with tables, views and stored procedures.
You will devlop, test and provide the necessary files to ensure we can perform user acceptance testing.
