i currently organize conferences where people physically come and listen to a lecturer.

i wish to go one step further: audio &/or video record those conferences and have their content made available online (chapters).

I don't know much about videos online - i assume streaming is the best answer to what i wish to provide.

I will do the video/audio capture myself.

Basically, visitors will access a checkout purchase page in my current website (this part of the programming is handled by us in php - mysql);

once they have paid a fee, that's where you come in: visitors have access to a page that includes info about the video and various chapters (video title, chapter titles, durations, player window, ...) for a given period of time, say, 2 weeks - so they can watch any of its chapters as many times as they wish for 2 weeks. after that period of time, the page becomes obsolete (it will say 'your subscription to this conference has expired - if you wish to renew, click here - other conferences you might like: .... ') -

your job will also be to explain to me where & how i can best store the videos (server) at a good rate - explain the logic

i'm looking for a freelancer who really masters these concepts, so the creation of this will be really fast, simple & obvious

we have all the dbs with the customer information, ... and we can handle creating new dbs under your recomendations to store necessary page access info, page references, etc.
