Description: Require translation of Panama civil aviation regulation documentation from Spanish to English

Source documents will be in PDF format. I would envision that the successful supplier would use online translation software (with cut and paste) such as Google Translate to speed up the process with final proofing done manually for major errors or misses.

Final document provided must be in MS Word, in two column table format, one Section / Article per row with the original Spanish text in the left column (cut and pasted from the original) and the English translation (cut and pasted from translation software) in the right column, properly formatted in Arial 10 font. See attached samples of the Source Document and the MS Word Translation which is the exact format I require.

The Spanish documents I wish to have translated are of identical structure to one attached to this RFQ. One is 200 pages and one is 60 pages.

Dear Sirs, After reviewing your examples and the type of format you require your document to be produced into, I would like to bid for this project at the price of $250 for the whole 260 pages. This is an extremely low price (less than a dollar per page) although top of your budget, but considering you accept it to be done with the help of automated translations in order to do it quicker, I accept I can do it for that price. I was considered over qualified to use Spanish as a language for my Ph.D. language exam. I am a retired FAA certified Air Transport Pilot (license is current) and full time writer. I should be able to do the work in less time, but I am fully loaded with assignments. Charlie

I would love to work with you on this project. I usually charge $0,06 per word, but I do special discounts for bulk documents. I would also like to say that I neither use nor trust translation software, preferring to do all the work by hand. I print out the document, translate it with a pencil, then type it all back in.
