El juego baccarat tiene reglas simples, la ganancia es medida por los puntos de las cartas. las cartas tienen la siguiente puntuacion: cartas del 2 al 9 valen ese mismo valor, el 10 y todas las cartas de figuras(j,q,k)no tienen puntuacion y los aces solo un punto de valor.Los jugadores calculan los puntos de su mano sumando los puntos y obteniendo el modulo y ese es su puntaje final. el modulo significa que luego de obtener la suma de los puntos se le quita el digito de la decena, por ejemplo si un jugador tiene una mano que sonsite en un 3 y un 6 su puntuacion seria 9 (3+6)y una mano que consiste en un 5 y un 9 su puntuacion seria 4 (5+9= 14 = 4) luego del primer calculo tenemos una suma mayor a 10 asi que ignoramos el digito de la decena en esta suma. si en otro caso la mano consiste en un 6 y un 4 entonces la puntuacion final es 0 ( 6+4 = 10 = 0).la puntiacion maxima en baccarat es 9 (un as y un 8, un 4 y un 5 o un 10 y un 9). hay varaiciones de baccarat que tienen diferentes reglas y fujos de juego.
