Hi I would be very interested doing this project for you. I have my own company that provides secretarial services based in the UK. I have been trading for over 4 years. I have a solid PA, and administrative background gained working at Board Level in various companies. My native language is English. I work for a number of clients, covering a broad spectrum of industry. I have advanced knowledge of MS Office and I am used to working to deadlines. I realise you would like a provider who has experience in transcribing audio media. I have extensive experience in this field over 20 years preparing documents such as tenders, sponsorship documentation, contracts, reports and interviews gained whilst working as PA to some of my current clients. These audio files were long in some instances, needed accuracy, and a very strong attention to detail. I am happy to complete a 5 min sample and sign a NDA if requested. For transcribing audio media files, I use Express Scribe with a foot pedal. My rate per audio hour is $30.00 or 50 cents per audio minute. I am very good at transcribing and provide a cost effective service. I will make sure that you have a document of an excellent standard. The document will be provided in MS Word. Current WPM 90, current accuracy level is 98.9%. TAT for 60 minutes of audio is 24 hours. I have provided a bid for 1 hour of audio. For 30 mins of audio the cost would be $15 . I am a well-educated, experienced typist, proof-reader and editor who currently works full time in publishing. I have a fast and accurate typing speed of approximately 55 words per minute and a great ear for accents, if this is something that may be important. This project would be perfect for me as it is something I could do to fit around my job. It will also be perfect for you as you will have a native English (British) speaker doing the best possible job for you! I estimate that it would take approximately 1 hour to complete a 20 minute transcription and so I think your fee of $15 is workable.
