Description

I'm looking for a person experienced with linux to develop scripts to manage users. Bash scripts preferred, but I'm open to offers.

Three scripts required:
1) to create user
2) delete user
3) modify limits/quotas

Processes started by different users should run together well, I think to limit amount of system resources every user can use. Please advise the exact list limits/quotas it might be necessary to enforce. Some ideas can be for e.g. disk space, memory, CPU. Some other ideas are network bandwidth (optional), network traffic (optional), HDD disk load (optional).

There should be a subfolder created under user home folder, this folder should be shared via samba.

Security must be enforced, users should not be able to access files which belong to others.

The os is Fedora 9.

Hope this is a simple task for a person who knows linux well.

If you really wanted to create scripts for creating/deleting or modifying the users. It is always better to implement a central authentication system (cause you are anyway touching the part of user management.) I have implemented the same using openldap. Also I can enable a web-based environment to add/del or edit users.
